Iwould just like to say what a beautiful Island Lopez is and it left me with everlasting memories of the wonderful people there who took a mad english women to thier hearts. I was priveledged to stay there with the most caring and loving people who have ever been in my life, Rodney and Louise Johnson, my heart is broken to hear that Rodney passed away in september, the world will be a sadder place without him but i am sure he will still be taking good care of everyone there, my heart goes out to Louise and is in my thoughts and prayers, I hope one day to return and feel the love around me of everyone on Lopez, god bless you all.

What is the name of the book that was written about Lopez Island? My deceased Aunt Claire Brooks Coffelt lived there before she died and she really loved the island.I'm sorry I was never able to travel there. I beleive her husband Lawrence is still living in their cabin. I have made your site one of my favorites. God Bless | |

Lopez Island is one of the most beautiful places in the Northwest. I was wondering if anyone could help me contact the (Wayne and Janet) Smith family who used to own the windmill tee-shirt shop. I was frineds with their daughter Heather and am trying to find her again. I think the Smiths live on Lopez in the summer and in Mexico in the winter. okay, I am looking for my friend heather. she lives on lopez island and I lost her email and I lost her address and I lost her aim, too!
we lived together for a few months in bellingham then she moved back to lopez and I moved back to germany, and I really miss her and I have been trying to find out her email, but I can't!

i came to know of lopez island from an article in our egroup of a resident artist who went to the same hs i did. so i went to the internet. to my delight, i found your island very interesting that i thought i would use it for my feature in magazine design class project. unfortunately, i cannot find good photos that is would do justice to your seemingly beautifully serene island --ones that would depict lopez island from the rest of the san juan archipelago.

I would like to thank you guys so much for all the information i have received from your website, you have planned my vacation to Lopez Island next summer. Me and my family loves to sail to Lopez and the other islands in the san juans. I also noticed how you pointed out that Paul Allen has a house on the southern part of the island as long as many other microsoft co-parners do too, and i work for a big computer company and i was tinking about buying a summer house there, so thank you again. I found so much interest in your site and visit it frequently, you provided me with the most efficeint and quantity of information and your site offered more then any other of the San Juan Island sites, so thank you again and maybe i will see you on the island sometime.
